What I can use to make surgery less pungent odor area?
Yesterday I had an infected cyst in the back of my neck drained. The surgeon covered with gauze and a bandage. I'm back on Thursday. For now, I'm not allowed to take a shower, and the area really feels. This is what I can do to reduce odors? I had intended to put some Vicks on the dressing, but do not want to end up in a lot of pain
I honestly do not put anything on it. It may hurt, create another infection or do not heal properly. If you clean and smell worse try to take a cloth and wash around or use a little soap to help. Actually not much you can do wihtout damaging the healing process
