remove surgical tape residue from skin?
My husband had srugery. The bandages will run smoothly and I've used the tape re-sell easy to clean, but when he returned for a checkup, they took a tube of super sticky OCT width (2 inches) bandages to hold against an area for a day. Era white. When we have taken today, can not get the adhesive to your skin. It's so sticky that clothing is stuck to the skin. We tested the oil, lotion, alcohol, even Goo Gone. Ideas? All will be appreciated!
The answer probably sounds strange, but it is a solvent that will likely require that the adhesive, which is cleaner automobile brake. The chemical name is Tetrachloroethylene. Anyway, you can buy an auto parts store. I bought mine at Advance Auto Parts. It will not harm your skin but dry by removing natural oils.
